DSRGD presents this new EP from Soulraq – in his own words, “Laser Funk”. Soulraq has long been looking for his own sound, and after merging some of his favourite genres including Funk, Jazz and Electronic, Laser Funk emerges. Inspired by old-time icons such as George Clinton, Oscar Peterson, and even modern day producers such as Swindle, ABSRDST and Rustie, Soulraq creates a hybrid sound. Taking the sweeping pads and synth fills from Electronic, adding the swung basslines and drums of Funk and finally spicing it up with bits of his own genius , Soulraq brings you “Glisten”.
